Guest Speaker Angela Moyer will be preaching during our worship service on “ The Pentecost.” Angela Moyer is completing her seminary degree from Eastern Mennonite Seminary this summer and is an occupational therapist at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She was the Pastor of Youth at Rockhill Mennonite from 2005-2011. Angela has fond memories of the Rice extended family Christmas dinners in the Deep Run East fellowship hall. This fall she plans to move to Allentown and pastor at Ripple and continue in part time pediatric occupational therapy.

Does it ever seem like you can't find God, that you have lost him? Maybe you would like to listen to Pastor Brent talk about "Franklin, the turtle, and his lost blanket".

The Junior High young people were studying the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul. Each group was assigned one of the trips to outline and then they demonstrated to the rest of the class with Fisher-Price toy people and a boat. Maybe we should borrow these learning techniques for the adult Sunday School curriculum. (Click on images for larger image)
