Our Philosophy
Each child will be treated with dignity and respect. Effort as well as achievement will be recognized and encouraged. Play is a preschooler’s “work” and is very important in the learning and emotional development of children. We encourage play and try to make learning time fun! It is our belief that children learn best through hands-on experiences and being able to interact with the environment by using all of their senses to explore and test thinking. Many opportunities are provided for the children to satisfy their curiosity and learn new skills through daily activities.
Preschoolers are still learning about group behavior: taking turns to speak, being a good listener, sharing, learning about their identity separate from their family, etc. As they do this, we offer patience, loving discipline, and much encouragement as the children learn how to relate to others in love, as part of the family of God.
