After morning worship, coffee is available in the gym foyer for adults to enjoy while visiting together. Adults can then chose to attend a variety of Sunday School classes for Bible study, discussion of issues, and prayer. Classes are available for all ages and stages in life.
Good News Class – Consists of mostly senior citizens but all are welcome. Meets in the upstairs adult classroom area, Room #305B. Studies the International Sunday School lessons which are used by many denominations. The lesson quarterly, Adult Bible Study, is published by the Mennonite Church. Currently led by Dan Nagel. This quarter the lessons are a survey of the New Testament.
Willing Workers - Consists of men and women, ages 65 and up. Meets in the Conference Room. This class comes together to share their daily walk, study God’s word, and apply it. The Adult Bible Study is used. Led by Walt Hockman.
Believers – A class of middle aged persons in the approximate age range of 50 to 65. Meets in Room #301. The Adult Bible Study is used as a guide for Bible study and is the basis of lively class discussions. Time is also spent reviewing the worship service, expressing individual concerns, and then praying together. The class leader is Duane Bishop.
Discovery Class – A welcoming group of young couples in the approximate age group of 30 to 40 who meet together for support and fellowship. Meets in Room #305A. At times a book or video curriculum is discussed or the Adult Bible Study is used. Led by Garry Rice.
Friendship Class – Consists of young individuals and couples who meet for fellowship and for the study of chosen books or videos. This is an informal class. Meets in Room #303. Led by Wendy Leatherman.
New Class for Young Adults - A newly formed class intended for young adults in the 20 to 30 year age group. Refreshments are served. Meets in Room #304. This quarter the class is reading Devotional Classics edited by Smith and Foster. The readings are drawn from the great devotional writers from Fancis of Assisi to Martin Luther.
College & Careers - A class where those who are post high school can connect with each other and discuss relevant issues. The class is currently doing a DVD Study, Focus on the Family's The Truth Project. Meets in basement classroom. Led by Dave and Kelli Rice.
Home Fellowship Class – A group of people of various ages who come together for sharing of concerns, support of each other, and prayer. Meets in the home of Lois and Laverne Rice.
